Joy is a seasoned professional services senior executive and business leader with over 25 years of experience advising Fortune 500 companies on a broad range of strategic and operational issues. His proven track record of driving growth and enhancing margins has established him as a trusted advisor and influential partner with C-level executives and Boards of Directors. He is widely published and has served as speaker/moderator at industry conferences.

As a senior partner in management consulting, he has held a variety of roles, from line partner to industry leader to practice leader, with full P&L accountability. He has experience working with firms of all sizes and business models, from pure-play strategy partnerships such as Kearney to multi-service line advisory firms such as Accenture, EY and Teneo.

Joy is passionate about developing people and teams. He is known for mentoring high-performing juniors and cultivating future leaders in the firm. A pragmatic and collaborative leader, Joy's strong decision-making skills have enabled him to drive firm growth and expansion.

Joy holds an MBA from INSEAD in France, a Post-Graduate in Applied Finance & Investments from the Securities Institute of Australia, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Honors) from the Australian National University. Currently based in NY, he has lived and worked across four continents.

P&L Leadership: As Practice Leader of a $110M business, Joy led a successful transformation of Accenture North America's Consumer Products Strategy Practice. He expanded its services beyond Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB) to encompass corporate strategy and growth, broadening the client base and service offerings while forming external partnerships.

Global Client Service Partner: At Accenture, EY, and Kearney, Joy served as Global Client Service Partner for Fortune 500 companies, managing multiple accounts concurrently with annual fees of $5MM to $40MM. He played a pivotal role in overseeing client relationships and driving cross-service line account development across strategy, management consulting, technology consulting and outsourcing services.

Driving Large and Complex Client Engagements: Joy led engagements with the C-Suite and Board of Directors on a variety of engagements including Corporate Strategic Review, Market Entry and Growth, EBITDA improvement, Mergers and Acquisitions, Shared Services Design and Implementation, and Project Management Office for Business and Technology transitions.

Thought-Leadership: Joy is an active contributor to thought leadership, publishing insightful articles in prestigious outlets like Forbes, the Marketing Insider, and CPG Matters. He has made contributions to a wide range of topics, including customer and brand strategy, M&A and growth.

Conference Speaker: Joy has presented and moderated conferences with CEOs. This included the GMA Leadership CEO Roundtable on “Do Brands Matter?” and GMA Growth Conference on “Game Changing Collaboration.”

External Alliances: Joy pioneered and led a research and conference series with Jefferies Equity Research, exploring the relevance of brands in consumer industries.

Industry Association Engagement: Joy served as Advisory Council member for the Consumer Brands Association (CBA), the largest US trade association for the world’s leading consumer products companies, with CEO membership of over 300 corporations. He spearheaded work with the Board of Directors to develop their corporate strategy, pricing, and operating model.
